The need for trained substance abuse and behavioral counselors has increased in recent years, and 麻豆传媒社区入口’s Chemical Dependency Studies Certificate Program prepares participants for careers in this fast-growing field. According to the U.S. Department of Labor, the employment of Substance Abuse and Behavioral Disorder Counselors is projected to grow 31 percent by 2022 — nearly three times the average growth rate (11 percent) for all other occupations.

CSUEB Oakland Center Closed for Expansion Project, Reopening in Fall

麻豆传媒社区入口’s is currently undergoing an extensive expansion project to accommodate its growing number of visitors and offerings. In addition to the expansion, the original structure is being renovated to create an overall cohesive and modern feel between the old and new spaces. The Oakland Center will be closed and under construction for the remainder of summer and is set to reopen in fall 2015.
CSUEB to Re-launch Construction Management Certificate Program in Fall

Blind CSUEB Student Pursues Passion for Opera Through International Exchange Program

For a music major studying opera, what could be better than immersing oneself in the birthplace of opera itself? 麻豆传媒社区入口 student Brandon Keith Biggs, blind from birth, is getting to do exactly that. Currently studying abroad in Italy as part of an international exchange program, Biggs is the first blind CSUEB student to participate in a study abroad program.
