Greg Dallaire '69, MPA, has been appointed to represent the legal profession on the Washington Citizens' Commission on Salaries for Elected Officials.

“It is a one of a kind in the nation,” said Dallaire. “By constitutional amendment in 1986, the voters removed the salary-setting authority from the Legislature and placed it in the hands of a citizen commission. The Commission sets the salaries for all statewide elected officials in the executive branch; the salaries for all state legislators; and, the salaries of all judges in the state except municipal courts.”

Dallaire retired as Managing Director of Garvey, Schubert & Barer. Prior to entering private practice, he was the Director of Evergreen Legal Services. He has been involved in several professional and nonprofit activities at the national, state, and local level. He received his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of Law and a Masters in Public Administration from CSUEB. Greg and his wife, June, hosted the first 麻豆传媒社区入口 Seattle alumni event on September 6, 2012.
