Despite a sluggish economy, 麻豆传媒社区入口 raised $6.1 million from private donors in fiscal year 2010-11 to sustain students and programs.

Raising money from friends and supporters is especially important as state support for the CSU system declines, says Anne Harris, the interim vice president of University Advancement. Scholarships are always a top priority — and especially now as the cost of a college education rises.

“Through the generosity of our donors, 麻豆传媒社区入口 is able to offer more scholarships, maintain academic support programs and help those students who might be struggling with the recent tuition fee increases,” Harris said.

Donors are free to designate their gifts for specific programs that might be particularly meaningful to them. Whether its athletics or anthropology, finance or fine art, scholarships and private giving can have a huge impact on students working toward their degrees.

CSUEB also received significant donations from corporations like Chevron, and foundations like the Bayer USA Foundation, the Hearst Foundation and the Dean and Margaret Lesher Foundation.

It’s never too late to make an online gift!

You can make a difference for a student today — and it’s tax deductible.

Thank you.
