Julie Germain
Julie Germain, BA ’99 Liberal Studies, has been promoted to Communications Director of the Global HP Account at CB Richard Ellis (CBRE), in their San Francisco Office.
Germain, who has a California Real Estate Salesperson license, was previously marketing director for CBRE Consulting and she supported CBRE’s Public Institutions and Education Solutions (PIES) group.
Germain hosted CSUEB’s June 8 San Francisco Business Networking event at her San Francisco office. Speakers included Terri Swartz, dean of the College of Business and Economics, Jim Spagle, head coach of the women’s volleyball team, and a several multimedia graduate students.
Germain’s many recognitions have included being named Alumna of the Year in 2003 at the CSUEB Contra Costa Campus. Bette Felton, interim dean of the campus at that time, presented the award and complimented Germain for founding an internship program that employed many CSUEB students on the BRAC military base sites (Alameda Point and Treasure Island).
