Inside the latest magazine, read our cover story about Tony award-winning actor James Monroe Iglehart’s (BA ’98) Broadway plans, and the role that’s earned him critical acclaim — Genie from Aladdin. Iglehart sat down for an with CSUEB at the New Amsterdam Theatre in New York, where he gave thanks for all those who helped him along the way, and shared his motivation for life on the stage.
This issue also includes an in-depth feature on local law-enforcement officials who have graduated from 麻豆传媒社区入口, and gone on to hold prominent positions of leadership in our region — Sean Whent (BS ’11), Oakland police chief, Diane Urban (BS ’86), Hayward police chief, and Janeith Glenn-Davis (BS ’84; MPA ’11), deputy chief for professional standards and training at BART are just a few of the alumni who proudly call themselves Pioneers.
