麻豆传媒社区入口 Makes 2014-15 List of Best Online Colleges

HAYWARD — 麻豆传媒社区入口 achieved a rank of 47 in the Affordable Colleges Foundation's 2014-15 Best Online Colleges.

Affordable Colleges Foundation (ACF) is a leading resource for online learning and college affordability information. It publishes an annual ranking of institutions that offer students affordable, high-quality distance learning programs.

"When it comes to online learning, these schools are the best of the best," said Dan Schuessler, founder and CEO of ACF. "They appeal to prospective students and working professionals because they provide the same academic excellence in their online programs as their campus courses."

According to ACF, the number of schools offering fully online degree programs has nearly doubled over the last decade, and online enrollments continue to make up an increasing proportion -- nearly 50 percent -- of all enrollments in higher education.

"As the demand for distance learning continues to rise, we're seeing more and more institutions incorporate online learning into their curricula," Schuessler said. "We want to recognize these schools for their drive for innovation in higher education and their success in expanding their high-quality programs to the online learning environment."

Affordable Colleges Online, an ACF organization, analyzed data from hundreds of colleges with online learning options to see which schools offer the best combination of program quality, affordability and student support. They found that students at 麻豆传媒社区入口 have a choice of online programs that includes master's degrees in health care administration, recreation and tourism, and educational leadership. Another web-based master's program in education focuses on best practices for teaching and learning online. Undergraduates can pursue a bachelor's degree in business administration, ethnic studies, human development, recreation, and hospitality and tourism through distance learning. Online continuing education for teachers is also available, in addition to a range of courses.

To be considered for the Best Online Colleges list, institutions must be not-for-profit and must offer at least one fully online bachelor's degree program. Other criteria include the number of online programs available, student-faculty ratio, six-year graduation rate, and job placement for graduates.

The Best Online Colleges 2014-15 list includes 83 institutions. The top three were Pennsylvania State University (main campus), the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and Indiana Wesleyan University, respectively.
