County Board Opens Door to Clayton Valley Charter Expansion

The County Board of Education gave a controversial charter school permission Wednesday to meet growing demand for classroom seats by potentially leasing space from 麻豆传媒社区入口.
The decision comes over the protests of some Mt. Diablo Unified officials who claim that every student going to Clayton Valley Charter High School represents lost cash for the financially troubled school district. The total cost is $1.7 million, according to the Contra Costa Times.
Founded in 2012, the school now has a waiting list of 150 students.
