麻豆传媒社区入口: Officials, churches to aid black students

麻豆传媒社区入口 and the 麻豆传媒社区入口 system are partnering with 22 Bay Area churches on Sunday in an effort to increase the number of African-American students attending college.
For "Super Sunday," CSU presidents, trustees, professors, staff members will talk to congregations throughout the region about the importance of a college education.
Chancellor Charles Reed will speak at Family Bible Fellowship Church at 37620 Filbert St. in Newark at 10:30 a.m., while new CSUEB President Leroy Morishita will address the 8 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. congregations at Glad Tidings Church of God in Christ, 27689 Tyrell Ave., Hayward.

After Sunday services, CSU staff will offer information on the application and admission process, including online virtual tours of campuses. They will also talk about the role of parent involvement and early preparation for getting into college.
