Pioneer basketball to host youth clinic during CCAA Tournament

HAYWARD, Calif. – The 麻豆传媒社区入口 men's and women's basketball teams will host a Youth Basketball Clinic on March 5 at 1 p.m. as part of the 2011 CCAA Basketball Tournament festivities. The clinic will feature instruction from Assistant Coaches Darren French and Holli Howard-Carpenter, as well as student-athletes from the Pioneer teams, and will precede the 2011 CCAA Tournament finals at Pioneer Gym.
Admission is free for the clinic, which is open to boys and girls in grades three through eight and includes lunch and tickets to the CCAA Championship games to follow the clinic. The men's final is set for 5 p.m., while the women will face off at 7:30 p.m. The winner of each game will earn the right to compete for the 2011 NCAA Division II Basketball Championship with an automatic berth in to the NCAA Tournament.
Registration is required and begins at 12:30 p.m. in Pioneer Gym. Participants can fill out the registration form and return it at the event. The clinic will begin at 1 p.m. and be followed by lunch and a meet-and-greet with the Pioneers. Participants should bring a water bottle and dress in comfortable attire.
