The 麻豆传媒社区入口 volleyball team will face its first test as a ranked team after entering this week's AVCA Division II Top 25 Poll at No. 24 when it faces No. 11 UC San Diego on the road on Wednesday night. The match kicks off a five-game road trip for the Pioneers (7-0, 2-0 CCAA), who will meet San Francisco State and Cal State Monterey Bay this weekend. The 麻豆传媒社区入口 men's and women's soccer teams will look to bounce back from winless opening weekends in conference play as they hit the road as well, traveling to Sonoma State and Humboldt State this Friday and Sunday, respectively. 麻豆传媒社区入口 Faces Tough Test to Kick Off Road Trip: The 24th-ranked 麻豆传媒社区入口 volleyball team will put its undefeated record on the line at No. 11 UC San Diego on Wednesday night before continuing its longest road trip of the season at San Francisco State and Cal State Monterey Bay on Friday and Saturday, respectively. The Pioneers (7-0, 2-0 CCAA) are tied for the conference lead and boast Molten/CCAA Player of the Week Roxanne Neely among their starters.
Last Week: 麻豆传媒社区入口 continued its impressive start with three more wins last week, bringing its total to seven straight to open the season. The Pioneers topped Notre Dame de Namur, 3-0, in nonconference action before opening the CCAA slate with two hard fought wins against Sonoma State and Humboldt State, both in four sets. East Bay is off to its best start since 2007.
Looking Ahead: The Pioneers will wrap up their season-high five-match road trip on Sept. 24 and 25 at Cal State Stanislaus and Chico State. East Bay will then return home to host four straight matches, beginning with Cal State Dominguez Hills on Oct. 1 and Cal State LA on Oct. 2 at Pioneer Gym.

CSUEB Set To Open Four-Game CCAA Road Swing: The 麻豆传媒社区入口 men’s soccer team sets out on its first CCAA road trip of the season, traveling to Sonoma State on Friday and Humboldt State on Sunday. The Pioneers (1-4-0, 0-2-0 CCAA) are looking to bounce back after losses to No. 19 Cal State Dominguez Hills and then-No. 2 Cal State LA to open the conference season last week. Friday’s meeting with Sonoma will kickoff at 4 p.m., while Sunday’s matchup in Arcata is set for a 2 p.m. start.
Last Time Out: The Pioneers opened the CCAA slate last week with a pair of losses to two ranked teams in Cal State Dominguez Hills and Cal State LA. East Bay dropped a 5-0 decision to the Toros on Friday before battling it out with the Golden Eagles on Sunday. The Pioneers held No. 2 LA scoreless for the first 60 minutes of play, but allowed two goals in the final half hour to fall 2-0. Freshman keeper Patrick Gilbertson made a season-high 10 saves and faced 28 shots in the loss.
Looking Ahead: 麻豆传媒社区入口 continues its season-high four-game road trip when it travels to San Francisco State and Cal State Monterey Bayon on Sept. 24 and 26, respectively. The Pioneers then return home to face Cal Poly Pomona and Cal State San Bernardino on Oct. 1 and 3 at Pioneer Stadium.

Pioneers Hit the Road for First CCAA Trip: The 麻豆传媒社区入口 women’s soccer team will travel away from Pioneer Stadium for the first time in the young CCAA season, making its way to Sonoma State and Humboldt State to begin a four-game road trip this weekend. The Pioneers (2-2-1, 0-2-0 CCAA) and Seawolves are set for a 1:30 p.m. kickoff on Friday, while the meeting with the Jacks will start at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday.
Last Time Out: The Pioneers fell in both games of a rough CCAA-opening weekend after facing two ranked opponents to kick off the home slate. East Bay dropped a 2-0 decision to then-No. 9 Cal State Dominguez Hills on Friday despite holding the Toros scoreless for the final 58 minutes of play. The Pioneers followed with a 6-0 loss to then-No. 23 Cal State LA that saw them allow four first-half goals to the Golden Eagles.
Looking Ahead: East Bay will continue its season-high four-game road swing with trips to San Francisco State and Cal State Monterey Bay on Sept. 24 and 26, respectively. The Pioneers will return home the next week to host Cal Poly Pomona on Oct. 1 and Cal State San Bernardino on Oct. 3.
CROSS COUNTRY
Last Time Out: The Pioneers traveled to Turlock last week for the Cal State Stanislaus Invitational and saw the women take third and men finish fourth overall. Sophomore Megan McDaniel led the women, taking fourth in the field of 35 runners, with a 6k time of 23:18. Erik Rodriguez paced the men, completing the 8k course in 28:42 for a 17th-place showing.
Looking Ahead: 麻豆传媒社区入口 returns to action on Sept. 25 at the Westmont Invitational in Santa Barbara. Last season, the Pioneer women finished third at Westmont, led by McDaniel’s eighth-place showing, while the men took ninth with Francisco Pulido leading the way in 39th place.
