Though the buzz of fall quarter has yet to hit campus, things are getting busy in the athletics department as the new season is set to begin this week. Add in our upcoming annual golf tournament and you can feel the excitement building as we embark on our second season competing in Division II and as a member of the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA).
The 14th annual 麻豆传媒社区入口 Golf Classic is fast approaching, and time is running out to register! The tournament, which serves as the largest fundraiser for athletic scholarships, will be held Sept. 13 at Hiddenbrooke Golf Club in Vallejo. The entry fees include greens fees, golf cart, polo shirt, on-course competitions, tournament gift bag, lunch and dinner.
The tournament is a great way to show your support for Pioneer student-athletes – all proceeds go to the Richard and Susan Sherratt Athletic Scholarship Endowment which provides funding for scholarships for Pioneer student-athletes, some of whom could not attend 麻豆传媒社区入口 without the help of athletic scholarships. Each edition of the tournament has been betterand more fun than the last, so join us for a great day of golf and company by registering by Sept. 3.
Led by Head Coach Jim Spagle, now in his 15th season at the helm, the Pioneer women's volleyball team heads north to open the season, traveling to Fairbanks, Alaska to play four games over the weekend.
