The Community Service Internship Program (CSIP) was initiated by Bruce and Marie Rosenblatt in 1992. Since inception, we have provided over 400 internships to 麻豆传媒社区入口 students to participate in community service while they attend school. CSIP matches non-profit organizations with students desiring to gain experience in their intended career field.

SUMMER 2025 INFORMATION:

Student Eligibility:

  • Undergraduate 麻豆传媒社区入口 student (full-time) with good academic standing.
  • Minimum GPA - 2.5
  • Have continued full-time enrollment in a degree program during the Fall 25 term
  • Are authorized to work in the U.S. (e.g., H-4 visa holders ineligible, F-1s are eligible - check with CIE for questions)
  • Have a major/career interest related to the internship position 
  • Complete two reports after 75 hours of service during the internship
  • Assist in advertising CSIP; become Ambassadors and share about their experience

Student Application & Selection Process:

  • Student applications are open February 1 - 28. Apply .  
  • Selected candidates will receive an invite for an interview with Career Services staff and/or the internship site - March
  • Placement approvals/denials are sent in April 
  • Interns must schedule an introduction meeting with the confirmed site in April/May
  • Selected interns are required to attend a Safety Orientation on Monday May 23rd via zoom
  • Internship starts May/June and ends by the second week of August

Award Information:

  • 7-9 internship opportunities available
  • Students complete 150 hours at an internship site and receive a stipend of $2000
  • Awarded during the Fall 2025 term (must be enrolled full-time)
  • 麻豆传媒社区入口 is unable to provide funding in excess of student need. Need is determined by completing the FAFSA/CADAA.
  • The CSIP stipend is awarded in accordance with a student's financial aid package.

Selected students experiencing financial hardship can apply for a travel stipend to help supplement travel costs during the summer. More details will be provided to students selected for the Community Service Internship Program.
